- Pay and if you like make arrangements for your next lesson!
SRC Safety Guidelines
Safety for our riders, staff and horses is extremely important to us. Here are the Stourport Riding Centre safety guidelines:-
Around the horses
- Behave quietly around horses and treat them with respect
- Remember horses are live animals and are sometimes unpredictable
- Do not “tit bit” horses as this may cause them to bite
Riding
- Riding Hats must be worn when riding (hat hire is included in lesson price)
- Gloves are strongly recommended
Handling
- Riding Hats must be worn when handling horses (hats are available for hire)
- Gloves are strongly recommended
General safety
- Parents and family are welcome to watch all activities from a safe distance
- Any children who are not engaged in riding activities are the sole responsibility of the parents/guardians
- Please follow instructions given by members of staff as we have your safety in mind
- If you are asked to do anything you do not feel comfortable doing then please inform the nearest member of uniformed staff who will assist you
- Any queries or accidents should be reported to reception
- The First Aid station is located at reception and in case of a fire please assemble in the lorry park behind the Indoor School
